Audi has launched the third-generation Q3 in India, with prices starting at Rs. 51.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The luxury SUV is available in two variants, Nova and Zenith, with the latter priced at Rs. 55.99 lakhs. Local assembly takes place at Audi’s facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra and deliveries have commenced.

The new Q3 features revisions to its exterior and cabin, along with an updated equipment list. It is offered exclusively with a turbo-petrol engine paired with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

2026 Audi Q3: Exterior Design

The third-generation Q3 adopts a redesigned front end featuring split-style lighting. LED daytime running lamps sit above the main digital Matrix LED headlights, which are mounted lower on the bumper. The headlamps also come with dedicated washers and can project certain driver assistance information onto the road, according to Audi.

The front fascia features a large honeycomb-pattern grille and redesigned lower air intakes. In profile, the SUV gets 18-inch alloy wheels, slim roof rails, a chrome windowline and flared wheel arches.

At the rear, split LED tail-lamps are linked by a slim light bar. The illuminated Audi logo, roof spoiler and rear wiper complete the design.

The Q3 measures 4531 mm in length, 1859 mm in width and 1601 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2681 mm and offers 488 litres of boot space.

2026 Audi Q3: Interior and Features

The cabin features a curved display arrangement comprising a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster. The four-spoke hexagonal steering wheel has touch-sensitive controls, while the gear selector is positioned on the steering column. This frees up space on the centre console, which houses a wireless phone charger, cup holders and the electronic parking brake.

Equipment includes leatherette upholstery, electrically adjustable and heated front seats and a memory function for the driver’s seat. The memory setting is also linked to the powered outside rear-view mirrors.

Other features include three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker Sonos sound system, a coloured head-up display and a powered tailgate.

Safety equipment comprises nine airbags, a rear parking camera, hill-hold and hill-climb assist systems, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). However, the Q3 does not get a 360-degree surround-view camera system.

2026 Audi Q3: Engine and Performance

Power comes from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, direct-injection turbo-petrol engine producing 204 HP and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro system.

Audi claims a 0-100 km/hr acceleration time of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 229 km/hr.

The Q3’s all-wheel-drive configuration distinguishes it from the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA, which are offered with front-wheel-drive layouts in the Indian market. The Quattro system could appeal to buyers who prioritise traction and all-weather capability, although the Q3’s higher variant price and feature mix will also factor into purchase decisions.

With its updated design, expanded equipment list and sole turbo-petrol AWD powertrain, the new Q3 enters the premium compact SUV segment with a focus on performance and cabin technology.
