India’s Cheapest Cars With ADAS
Honda Amaze: Level-2 ADAS is available only on the top-spec ZX variant, which is priced at ₹9.39 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual version and ₹10.00 lakh for the CVT. This makes the Amaze one of the most affordable sedans in India to offer ADAS technology.
The sedan features a sleek front grille, all-LED projector headlamps and an elegant overall stance. Inside, it gets a premium dual-tone dashboard, an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control and a spacious 416-litre boot.
The Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. It delivers a claimed mileage of 18.65 km/l with the 5-speed manual gearbox and 19.46 km/l with the CVT automatic.
In terms of safety, the sedan gets six airbags as standard. The top-spec ZX variant also features Honda Sensing, a camera-based ADAS suite that includes Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Road Departure Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno: The top-end Alpha (O) variant gets Level-2 ADAS and is priced at ₹9.59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual version and ₹10.09 lakh for the AMT.
The exterior features a new NexWave grille with radar housing, sleek LED DRLs and new alloy wheels. Inside, the Baleno gets a premium blue-and-black theme, a flat-bottom steering wheel, segment-first ventilated front seats, a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display (HUD), a cooled wireless charger and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
The Baleno is powered by a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine that produces 82 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. It delivers a claimed mileage of around 23.80 km/l with the manual gearbox and 24.77 km/l with the automatic AGS transmission.
For safety, the car gets six airbags, hill-hold assist and ESP, along with Level-2 ADAS. The ADAS suite includes Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, High Beam Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: ADAS features are primarily available from the AX5 L variant onwards, with prices ranging from ₹11.66 lakh to ₹12.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
The SUV gets a muscular design with C-shaped LED DRLs, connected LED tail-lamps and a wide stance. Inside, it offers a premium cabin with soft-touch finishes, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver display, wireless charging and a Harman Kardon premium audio system.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is powered by a 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi turbo-petrol engine that produces 129 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual and a torque-converter automatic transmission, delivering a claimed mileage of around 18-20 km/l.
The SUV has received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. Its safety features include six airbags, all-disc brakes and radar- and camera-based Level-2 ADAS, with features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Smart Cruise Control.
Honda City: ADAS is available from the V variant onwards, with prices starting at ₹13.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual version and ₹14.29 lakh for the CVT.
The sedan gets a premium design with a sharp chrome grille, LED tail-lamps and a long, elegant profile. Inside, it features a beige-and-black cabin with soft-touch padding, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting and rear AC vents. The City also offers generous rear-seat legroom, making the cabin particularly spacious for passengers.
The Honda City is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 121 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT, delivering a claimed mileage of 17.8-18.4 km/l.
The sedan has a 5-star safety rating and comes equipped with six airbags and a LaneWatch camera. Honda Sensing Level-2 ADAS is also available, offering features such as Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Departure Assist, Road Departure Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control.
