MG Hector Storm Series gets Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions at Rs 19.99 lakh each. Both SUVs feature a bold dark design, 14-inch screen, ADAS, connected tech and premium features
JSW MG Motor India Chief Commercial Officer Vinay Raina said the Hector has been an important part of MG’s journey in India and has evolved with changing customer preferences. With the Storm Series, the company is offering buyers a more distinctive and bold styling option while retaining the Hector’s focus on technology, safety, comfort and a premium experience. The Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions are designed to give customers more scope to personalise their SUVs, the company said. (Image: MG Motor India)The Hector Storm Series continues with a 35.56-cm (14-inch) HD portrait infotainment screen, which is among the key features of the SUV. Smart Boost technology is designed to improve screen performance and touch response. The SUV also gets i-Swipe gesture controls, allowing users to operate functions such as the AC, music and navigation using two- or three-finger swipes. Other features include a digital Bluetooth key with key sharing, predictive maintenance alerts, remote AC control and a 17.78-cm embedded LCD full-digital instrument cluster. (Image: MG Motor India)Safety features on the Hector Storm Series include a 360-degree HD camera with wheel view, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Hold Control and Brake Assist. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The Storm editions also get a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 14-inch HD portrait infotainment screen, eight-colour ambient lighting, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and an automatic powered tailgate. An air purifier with a PM2.5 filter, rain-sensing wipers and front parking sensors are also available. The limited-edition Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm are priced at Rs 19,99,800 each (ex-showroom). MG Motor India is also offering finance options, including financing of up to 100% of the car’s on-road price, subject to applicable terms. The finance facility is available for a maximum tenure of 84 months. The Hector Storm Series comes with MG’s Shield programme, which includes a standard 3+3+3 package: three years of unlimited-kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance and three periodic services with no labour charges. Customers can additionally choose extended warranty, extended roadside assistance and Protect Plans, which are prepaid maintenance packages. JSW MG Motor India has launched the 2026 Hector Storm Series for buyers looking for a mix of bold styling, modern technology, safety and comfort. The limited-edition range includes the Hector Blackstorm and Hector Snowstorm, both offered in a five-seat configuration with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and CVT transmission. The SUVs feature a new all-black Storm Hex grille, front and rear bumper garnishes, Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels and red brake callipers.
