Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) has secured a spot among the world’s busiest airports, becoming the only Indian airport to feature in the global top 20. According to the latest passenger traffic data from the Airports Council International (ACI), IGI handled more than 78.1 million passengers in 2025 and ranked 11th globally. 1. Atlanta Airport — 106.3 Million Passengers

5. Shanghai Pudong Airport — 85 Million Passengers
