Delhi-NCR Traffic Alert: Commuters travelling between Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi on Friday, October 9, should prepare for traffic diversions and possible delays, particularly along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Kalindi Kunj, Chilla and DND routes.

The Gautam Buddh Nagar Traffic Police have announced a traffic management plan in view of a large event being organised at Dr Ambedkar Park in Sector 95 to mark the death anniversary of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram.

With a large gathering expected at the venue, traffic diversions will be implemented as required, particularly during the morning hours. Commuters have been advised to check the affected routes and use alternative roads to avoid congestion.

Noida Traffic Advisory: Key Routes Affected On October 9

The traffic police have identified several diversion points to manage the expected rush around Dalit Prerna Sthal and nearby roads.

1. Noida-Greater Noida Expressway To Delhi: Vehicles travelling towards Delhi from the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be diverted at Charkha Roundabout towards Gaushala Roundabout. Motorists will be able to continue towards their destinations using the alternative route.
2. Kalindi Kunj To Delhi Via Chilla And DND: Vehicles travelling from Kalindi Kunj towards the Chilla or DND routes will be diverted from Sector 37. The alternative route will pass through Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk and the Sector 15 roundabout.
3. Greater Noida To Noida: If traffic congestion builds up near Dalit Prerna Sthal, vehicles travelling from Greater Noida towards Noida will be diverted via the Mahamaya Flyover towards Sector 37. Motorists will then be directed through Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk and the Sector 15 roundabout.
4. Diversions Near Gates 4 And 5 Of Dalit Prerna Sthal: If congestion increases near Gates 4 and 5 of Dalit Prerna Sthal, vehicles will be diverted from the Film City Flyover towards Sector 18. Commuters will be able to access the Sector 18 underpass via the elevated road or Rajnigandha Chowk.
5. Diversions Near DND And Film City Flyovers: In the event of a traffic jam on the Noida-to-Greater Noida route, vehicles will be diverted from the Sector 14A Flyover via the Sector 15 roundabout, Rajnigandha Chowk and Sector 37. Motorists should follow on-road instructions issued by traffic personnel, as diversions may be adjusted according to congestion levels.

Noida Traffic Advisory: Designated Parking Arrangements

The traffic police have also designated parking facilities for vehicles arriving to attend the event. Drivers should follow the directions of traffic personnel to reach the designated parking areas.

• Vehicles arriving from Delhi via Chilla and DND: Parking will be available in the multi-level parking facility inside Film City.
• Vehicles arriving from Pari Chowk, Sector 37, Greater Noida West and Kalindi Kunj: Parking will be available in the underground parking facility at Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal, near Sector 95 and Gandanaala.
• Vehicles arriving from Sector 60 and Sector 18: Parking will be available near Garden Galleria in Sector 38A.

Commuters not attending the event are advised to allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes, particularly if their journey takes them through Sector 95 or the surrounding expressway corridors.

Emergency Vehicles To Be Given Priority

The Gautam Buddh Nagar Traffic Police have clarified that emergency vehicles, including ambulances and fire service vehicles, will be given priority access during the diversions to ensure they can move without obstruction.
